We wandered in the forest of our memories
Walking through the shifting shades of light
Dense and twisting pathways extending in the maze
To a deeply quiet, mesmerizing place

It's easy to get lost there in the hypnotizing lair
Of dreams that hold us tightly in their grip
As we become completely out of focus
Embraced by visions of the moon's eclipse
We disappear

Far from any landmark we can recognize
Falling through a crack outside of time
Thick and winding passages ascending in the haze
To a marvelous and captivating space

It's easy to get lost there in the damp and fragrant air
For dreams can fool us with a million tricks
As we become completely out of focus
Chasing after love's enchanting myths
